2013-07 Explore Cornwall
We were four lads that had decided to take a five day tour around Cornwall, with Seakayaking Cornwall as guides.

"How was your week in Cornwall, gloriously and sunny?"

You are going to wish you'd never asked :-)

Both.! Very much. We got to see places that the staff hadn't even seen before - due to the extraordinary calm conditions, that week (guess they more or less always avoid calm conditions?). Caves, coves, cliffs, stacks, rock gardens, wildlife (all but basking shark), history, ... . Lizards Point, Lands End, Longships, Nevex Point, ... We covered twice the coastline I had hoped for (144km), it was all twice as beautiful as expected. All wild camping....

You know we had quite a long drive getting there. After one day on the water, I thought: "It was well worth the drive."

After one and a half day, I thought: "How much better can it get" (staff kept saying: Just you wait).

After three days I knew where Pixar, Disney and NG gets their inspiration from.
After five days (Ralph's Cupboard) I thought: "I could die now - I've seen it all." (no I am usually not at all suicidal) :-)

A bit more chop would have been nice, though then we wouldn't have seen the caves we did. Next time: More light and better cameras..!!

Sorry - got carried away. :-)
